I was looking at a property in Aberglasslyn and the Real Estate agent recommended a Pest and Building inspector. Upon googling the inspector’s name and seeing the bad reviews I quickly established that I wasn’t going to use them. I came across Mal Wright’s reviews which were far more positive so I checked out his website. I ended up doing an online booking right then and there. Mal’s office received the booking and phoned the Real Estate to book it all in. Once the agent found out I wasn’t using ‘his’ inspector, he didn’t seem very happy. The inspection went ahead and I has the reports emailed to me the next day. Mal had found a few minor defects, which were itemised in the report with photos, but he also found some previous termite damage which had not been disclosed by the agent. Needless to say, we weren’t impressed and let our feelings known to the agent as well. We are still looking for another property and we will definitely be using Mal Wright again.
