We were building a new house in Metford and after months & months of waiting we finally got to the stage where we could walk through with the builder and go over things that needed fixing. We were really happy that there wasn’t much that needed amending but then spoke with some friends who had also built recently and they told us to have an independent Handover inspection done. They’d had so many issues after they moved in and said they wished they’d had one done. Mal’s name came up in the conversation so we gave him a call to see what was involved. It was pretty straight forward and his staff booked it all in for us as well as getting access from the site supervisor. We also attended on the same day but went through with the builder. The reports were emailed to us the following day and wow. The amount of problems he picked up that the builder had not included was a lot greater than I had expected. We had a meeting with the builder and the supervisor the following week and gave them copies of the defects and we are now in the process of ticking them off to be fixed before we move in. Thanks to Mal we are moving into a house that will be in much better condition. Well worth it.
