Mal literally saved my wife and I thousands of dollars with the inspections he completed recently. We were all ready to proceed with the purchase of a house and our Conveyancer said we should get Pest and Building Inspections done before we sign on the dotted line. In all honesty, I thought I was wasting my money (and Mal’s time) as the house wasn’t that old. Well, wasn’t I wrong. Mal found a fair bit of termite damage under the house. Apparently the owners hadn’t kept up with the termite treatments over the years and the little buggers had snuck in! It was recommended by Mal that if we were to go ahead we should have an Invasive inspection done to find the full extent of the damage internally as well. It was a huge call but we decided to not go ahead with the purchase. We couldn’t justify moving into a house then having to do reno’s etc. We wanted to move in and enjoy our house. We are so thankful to Mal and we will definitely be giving him a call for inspections at the next house we find to buy. Better to be safe rather than sorry!
