Whilst researching for a Pest and Building Inspector, I read all sorts of horror stories about them finding termites, concealed water damage and leaking roofs. It made me wonder why people don’t get their properties inspected? I get that there’s a cost involved but getting it done for my own peace of mind far outweighs that. I’d rather know now what I’m up for than in 6 months time find that termites have destroyed my home.
Mal has done 2 Pest and Building inspections for me and both of them found concealed issues – excessive termite damage in one (it got crossed off my list) and a leaking roof space in another (still in negotiations with this one).
