We recently engaged Mal to complete a post purchase pest & building inspection on our new home. Given the house was over 60 years old, we expected a few surprises. Mal was easy to deal with and quick to respond with information. The report he produced was comprehensive and provided a clear list of what needed to be attended to. He also made it clear what issues should take priority to ensure the houses structural and foundational integrity. It’s easy when buying an older house to get sucked into doing cosmetic fixes at the expense of the less glamorous work. Mal makes it clear what needs to be done and in what order to ensure the investment is protected and the house will remain sound. He is practical in his advice and this helps a lot when engaging people to do the work. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
