I contacted Mal after a friend (who is a Real Estate agent) mentioned he had done inspections on his newest property purchase. He’d said how great Mal was and I should book him in to look at the house I was buying.
I went home and googled Mal Wright and was very impressed with what I read on both his website and the Google reviews. I rang his office the next day and booked an inspection.
There was a couple of days wait but really, if he was quiet and could do it straight away, I’d be questioning that! It gave me time to go back to the house and have another look in the meantime anyway. I also gave Mal’s office a call and asked if they could double-check a few things while he was there. And they were more than happy to accommodate that request too.
The day after the inspection I was emailed the reports and Mal followed up with a phone call later that day. The things I’d asked for to be looked at were included in the report, there were colour photos and recommendations for repairs.
I wonder if every inspector is this thorough? Maybe you need to ask yourself that before you book someone else. Thanks for your help Mal.
