I was interested in a property out at Maitland. The Real Estate agent disclosed that it had previous termite damage but ‘nothing to worry about’ as it had all been fixed. Well, I was a little worried and wanted to know how much there actually was. Mal Wright was recommended to me by a builder friend as ‘the best’ so I phoned and booked in a Pest and Building Inspection with him. Mal was able to complete the inspection the same week and once he’d finished he gave me a quick call to discuss a couple of things.
First of all, the termite damage that had been ‘fixed’ was a lot more extensive than I was made to believe. And secondly, even after having termites, the owners hadn’t kept up with the termite treatments. Wow. I couldn’t believe it. Mal had certainly picked up a few things that needed serious consideration. I’m glad I had given him a call and decided to not listen to the Agent. Mal has literally saved me thousands of dollars and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or recommend him to fellow home buyers.
