Having Mal complete Pest and Building inspections at a property I was interested in at Carrington certainly put my mind at rest.
It wasn’t a big house, but I just needed to know what was going on in the places I couldn’t see. The roof space and sub floor were 2 of those concerns.
Mal was kind enough to give me a call once he had finished his inspections and have a chat about the house before I got my reports the next day. He was very helpful and even though there were easily fixed, small issues, he put me at ease by giving me possible solutions (things I thought were big problems, really weren’t!). I used the reports to follow up with the different qualified trades I needed and they also reassured me.
I now know what I’m up for financially before I even sign on the dotted line which has helped me immensely with budgeting and prioritising.
I’d say if you’re unsure about a property, you really need to get those inspections done. Mal is the one to call!
