I’d heard the ‘don’t use Mal Wright’ rumours around the water cooler at work – but I like a challenge! Since I was buying my own place, I wanted someone to be patient and look at things differently to me who just saw the gloss and shine of a new house. Plus I didn’t want to crawl around underneath it. I’d found a beautiful house in Morpeth and phoned Mal to book in an inspection. There was a few days wait…understandable. Good things come to those who wait. And boy, didn’t I get a fabulous report. He covered everything! Inside, outside, roof space, subfloor! All the rooms were inspected individually and faults reported on in separate areas. I didn’t realise how much effort went into producing these reports! I’m thinking about starting my own water cooler rumour in the hope it gains momentum and you get lots of work from it, Mal!
