Being a first home buyer, I literally had no idea what Pest and Building Inspections were or what they discovered.
My Conveyancer recommended Mal Wright, so I googled before I booked anything. It was good to see he had so many positive reviews.
I did a booking online and they followed up with an email to let me know it had been confirmed and what day the inspection was going ahead. That’s all I had to do, really! It was fairly smooth sailing from there. I got my reports (so did my Conveyancer) and there wasn’t anything major wrong with the house (it was fairly new), so it all went ahead! Mal even phoned me the day after I received the reports to make sure I understood it all.
I did get a printed copy of the reports in the mail later in the week, which I want to hang onto in case I ever sell. It will be good to look at in the future and see how much has changed!
